A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of a face. With dentistry's many advances, you no longer have to settle for stained, chipped, or misshapen teeth. You now have choices that can help you smile with confidence. Even the most subtle change in your smile can make a dramatic difference in the way you look and feel about yourself.
Fixed prosthetic solutions and removable prosthetics are tools in our wide range of possibilities to help reconstruct the bite, to a completely functional bite. Thanks to modern techniques it is possible to make bridges and crowns in highly aesthetic ceramic materials with a natural looking result and long-time durability.
Oral Prophylaxis (Cleaning)
Your regularly scheduled check-up is often referred to as a "cleaning", but there is much more to it than that! The technical term is "oral prophylaxis", which means prevention of oral disease.
Night Guard (for Bruxism or Clenching)
Bruxism is the clenching together of both the upper and lower teeth. Clenching can cause pressure on the muscles, tissues, and other surrounding structures of the jaw, and can cause jaw joint disorders, headaces, neck pain, jaw pain, ear pain, tense muscles, and excessive wear on the teeth.
Through correction of teeth alignment, malocclusion ("bad bite") can be corrected with adults or children. This results both in improved aesthetics and functionality of teeth and jaw. To achieve this, braces are applied over longer periods.
Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic treatments are the removal of an infected and often painful tooth-root (rootcanal). In most cases, an infected root is caused by a cavity (hole) that grows deeper and deeper until it reaches the rootcanal.
Tooth extraction is a procedure to remove a tooth from its socket. It is commonly performed and may be a simple extraction or a surgical extraction. A simple extraction removes a tooth that has erupted into the mouth without cutting into the gum.
